Stephen has been to the gym part 2

We were supposed to go to the gym last night after Stephen finished work, but instead we ended up going out drinking with his colleagues, they are all Norwegians or Danish so it was a little bit of a Scandinavian night. It was fun except that it took them 45 min to get me a cocktail, during that time the rest already had 3each. The food was lovely and the company good.
So this morning we had a meeting with out personal trainer at 11, bad time, hungover! It was Stephen's turn to get grilled so I went off to do my own things.
I saw them now and again, after about 40 min the trainer came to find me to tell me that Stephen wasn't feeling very well and had nearly collapsed! I looked over where he was on the treadmill and he looked like he was gonna die!
I walked over and he said he nearly puked on the trainer he was that exhausted!
Oh how I laughed, there he goes for being 16% body fat, you need a little bit more to survive!

stephen went to the gym!

Yes it is true, Stephen went to the gym tonight, he is already aching and talking about not going back.
He met with the trainer and did all the tests in his 15 year old shorts ( yes really! ) and 7 year old trainers that he had only used once before this evening.
His results came out as him being underweight with only 16% fat but no muscles anywhere.  He did the running , press ups, flexibility and balance tests, non very good but because he only had 16% fat his age came out as 22, yes 22!!! I was 41...!
His poor little face was so red I thought he was gonna die, he claims he could have done better on the running machine because he didn't know how to use it, but that is all talk.
After the gym we went out to buy him new gym clothes, as he can not show up again in those shorts! so now he is Mr Adidas, new shorts and 2 T-shirts, his old shoes and socks are also Adidas.
He still goes on about having the body of a 22 year old and doesn't have to go back, but we are back on Friday for another session!

Does this tummy looks like it belongs to a 22 year old???

We are back!

So we are back in India, and it is great! When we landed it was raining and it cooled the whole of Delhi down a little.
Our new car finally arrived which meant we got a new driver, again but this one is for keeps, he is actually quite good, plus he speaks English so it makes communication a bit easier.
I have been to the gym twice this week, Stephen has yet to go...
Also our little lizard has disapered! That's what happens when you leave for too long:(
Today at 10 o'clock we had a man here that was gonna install our gas, at 10.30 we had a second man here to try to install our gas... ! The first one didn't speak English so he tried to tell me something for a while, then I called Stephen and he put someone on that spoke Hindi. He basically said that it was broken and he was sending someone else. So a few minutes later this other man turns up, looks at it and it works! Don't ask me how, it just does. he charged me 560 rupees ( £8 ) and left.
So now we can finally cook real food :) We did end up having last nights take away left overs, but tomorrow we will definitely cook some real food!

The Mayfair, London.

We spent our last night out in London town. I booked a table for 10 at the Big Chill for 6 o'clock. We got there and ordered a beer and a bottle of wine with a few glasses to start with when people arrived. At 18.45 we were still alone....! So we texted  a few people just to see that they knew where we were, they said they did. At 1900 the bump arrived:) we haven't seen the mother to be since Christmas and she wasn't showing anything then, now she looked like she was ready to pop any second, supercute! Then the rest arrived over a few hours time for the rest of the night. We had a great time and ended the night with a lovely curry!
We got back "home" ( the Mayfair hotel ) at about 1am. At 7.30 we heard screams outside the hotel but felt a little bit hungover to care what it was. When a few hours later we went down to have breakfast we saw Jedward outside hugging and kissing their fans! Girls ( and grown up women ) were going crazy! So funny! Anyhow so now I have actually seen a "celebrity" at the hotel as well.

Furtaventura, an adventure for the whole family :)

We landed safely in London last night, a few tears later we sat on a train home to "Wokingham Woods".
It was a lovely holiday and great to see Stephens family again.
On Tuesday last week Stephens dad came to pick us up and help us put some blinds up in our house, then we stayed at their house over night as it is much closer to the airport. At 4am (!!!!) the next morning we got up and a taxi took us to the airport, where we met our smaller passanger ( no Stephen was there to start with ) Connie and Ciaran, and obviously Stephens sister and her husband to. We went through security and only after some confusion what was beeping on the little one (it was his shoes) we were through!  We then went to Franky&Bennie's and had breakfast and I managed to buy a pair of shoes in Kurt Geiger before we took off!
Me and Stephen had promissed Connie to sit next to us on the flight ( we thought that was the easier option, rather than 1 year old Ciaran) but he fell asleep and we were playing with Connie for the 4,5 hour flight. It was not too bad we only played with stickers and ended up having them everywhere.
For the next week we played on the beach, in the pool , danced in the evening and "enjoyed " the entertainment in the hotel. It was Stephens mums birthday, thats why they took us all there in the first place, so there were a whole day of birthday celebrations as well!
When the week was nearly finished Connie asked me if I was old, I said - no, why? She then said that her mummy said that only old people could stay for the next week as it was a old peoples holiday then and the rest had to go home! Stephens parants were staying for an other week, thats what she meant!
So we packed our bags and flew home agian. Connie said in the plane that we shouldn't go back to India, we could stay with her instead. So we had a few tears (me!) before we said goodbye and now we are home in Bracknell. Going out tomorrow in London, then staying at our second home ( the Mayfair ) and then we are flying again on Saturday night back to India.

The holiday starts in Sweden

On Friday evening we landed at Heathrow airport. It was a good flight, watched a few films and slept a little also had one or three cocktails and some popcorn.
Saturday morning we were up at 4 for a 6.50 flight to Sweden to see my family. We took the train over from Copenhagen and as usual it was late when we arrive in Kristianstad we went straight to my sisters hair saloon and had our hair coloured and cut, well me not Stephen he only had a cut.
We then went home to my dads house and my grand parents came over; we had cakes and drinks. My grand mother had made us about 250 cakes!! amazing! loved all of them!
In the evening we went over to my mothers house and had a BBQ with my uncle and auntie, the sun was shining and it was lovely!
On the Sunday morning we took my dog for a long walk, he loves when we come home and do that. Again the sun was shining and it was very peaceful, he then slept for the rest of the day as he was that exhausted!
After the walk me , Stephen , my  mother and father went to have brunch at the new Stadium in Kristianstad ( you see Kristianstad is very up and coming!!) it was nice, they had everything and we had to be rolled out at the end.
On the Monday we went down to Malmo and meet up with the lovely miss Emelie, one of my two very best friends! The other one was stuck in Sjobo!! We were sitting outside in the sunshine ( it was at least 20 degrees and Emelie being Swedish came in shorts and T-shirt, me in Stephen had jackets and jeans on!) we had lunch and a few ciders and beers. Best afternoon in a long time! We even got the plesaure of meeting Emlie's new boyfriend, and he gets 5 out of 5 stars!Very friendly and polite.
When it was time to leave to catch the train back to the airport we realised that Stephen had managed to burn his nose and arms!! He hasn't got a single mark from India where it is 42 degrees , he goes to chilly Sweden and gets burned!
The visit was short but sweet, tomorrow we are off to Fuertaventura :)

Here are a few pictures from the weekend!

Holiday!

Tomorrow (Friday) we are leaving a very warm India, to go on holiday!
Our flight leaves at 12.50 lunch time from here to the U.K.  At the moment we have used Stephen's points to upgrade me to business class and Stephen is still in Economy expecting to get a free upgrade at the airport due to him having a platinum card with airline.  At the moment there are 7 free seats in Business so he should be ok, but not sure what i will do if they sell the seats and don't upgrade him.  Do I give up my Business class seat and join him in the back or stay up from and sip champagne and cocktails at the bar???

We have a night at home and then flying to Sweden on Saturday until Monday. After that we are back in the U.K. for two days before heading down to the Fuerteventura with Stephens family, where we are celebrating his mums 60'th birthday! We are staying for a week and then heading back to the U.K for a couple more days, where we will have a belated leaving for India drinks.

So wont be writing on the blog for about 10 days when I will write it from our house in U.K.

Today I've been at the gym, apparently I'm 41 years old and obese. The poor trainer didn't know what to say after getting the results from the tests,  Haha.
On the way home in the car the A/C wasn't working so it was about 50 degrees, and I was stuck in traffic for about 1hour 20 minutes! Not to be recommended.  But I must have sweated out some of the fat, no need for a sauna!

Stephen has not yet entered the fitness first after joining! Claiming he is too busy at work...!

I am a bit worried leaving as we now have a pet and it will be the first time we have left her alone for more than a night.  She is called lizzie and she lives behind the aircon unit in our bedroom.  Isn't she cute!!!

Cricket!

Yesterday we went to cricket! The Delhi Daredevils vs Kochi Tuskers Kerala.
It was my first live cricket game ever, and I think it will probably be the last one as well...
It was fun to start with when everyone was super excited and cheered everytime they hit the ball! There was flags waving and cheerleaders jumping up and down. But after about half the game when it was time for the teams to change place, then it got boring, that was after about 1,5 hours.
We ended up taking a tuk tuk home before the game ended, and that was probably wise because there were so many people and they where all gonna take a taxi or a tuk tuk home afterwards.

Here are some pictures from the game.

This week I'm concentrating on washing all our clothes, the plumber has finally been here and fixed our washingmachine and we need to wash our clothes before we are heading of on holiday on Friday :)
